1. Brief History of AGS Chitrakot.

(a) AGS, Chitarkot was constructed under Sadbhavana on a private land donated by its owner, at a cost of Rs 12,00,000/- and was completed in June 2003. The school started functioning, with classes UKG to 3rd standard, from 01 October 2003 with 35 children in attendance. Since then the School has been augmented thrice, the recent one being in the year 2015. The School is presently upto 5th standard and the strength in the academic yr 2015-16 has gone to 86 students.

(b) The aim of the project was to provide quality education to the children belonging to the remote villages of Chitarkot region including Chitarkot, Bahadarkot, Ibkot, Pingla Haridal, Thamni, Chhamkot, Chainpura Pain, Gundi Sayidan, etc with a population of approx 3000.

2. Land Details.

The School building is constricted on private land donated by its owner in village Chitarkot, Karnah Tehsil.
